I think what this quote means is that if you do what is right, people will take care of you. An example of this is respect. If you do good people will have respect for you. People will help you out in situations you are having trouble in. They will help you in any way they can, when you need it. If you do bad, people will probably hate you. They might ingore your call for help. They will most likely not help you in any situtation you're having trouble in.
